Shalom Wood, a Vietnam-based designer and manufacturer of DIY wooden models under the Halom brand, participated as an exhibitor at Hoi An Creativity Week 2026. Its booth in the “Chạm Sáng Tạo” creative space introduced visitors to Vietnamese-inspired miniature models and offered opportunities to connect with gift and souvenir retail partners.
Shalom Wood at Hoi An Creativity Week 2026
Held from August 28 to September 1, 2026, at An Hoi Sculpture Garden, the event gave Shalom Wood an opportunity to present its products to local residents, travelers, and potential business partners.
At Booth B9, the Halom collection featured Hoi An and Hanoi architectural models alongside Tea Books, Coffee Music, and DIY flower kits. Visitors could explore completed models, examine their details, and speak directly with the team about the assembly process.
Through its exhibition booth, Shalom Wood contributed a hands-on perspective on creativity, showing how individual wooden pieces come together to form a miniature scene.

Introducing Shalom Wood and the Halom Brand
Shalom Wood is the company behind Halom, a brand of DIY wooden models and book nook kits designed and manufactured in Vietnam. Its production workshop is located in Thanh Hoa.
Halom products invite users to build miniature buildings, streetscapes, and imaginative interiors from individual components. Once assembled, the models can become decorative pieces, thoughtful gifts, or personal keepsakes that reflect the time spent creating them.
Guided by the idea of “Telling Vietnamese stories, one piece at a time,” Halom draws inspiration from Vietnam’s architecture and everyday life. The brand translates familiar places into miniature designs that people can explore and assemble themselves.

Bringing Hoi An to Life in Miniature
Presenting a Hoi An-inspired model in the city itself created a meaningful connection between the product and its surroundings.
With architectural details and warm lighting, the model offers a different way to remember the old town. Visitors can discover its individual elements and build a miniature scene to display at home or give to someone special.
At the booth, assembly demonstrations and conversations with the Halom team helped visitors understand the DIY experience. Each kit offers both a finished display piece and the satisfaction of watching a scene take shape, one component at a time.

Connecting with Gift and Souvenir Partners
Alongside introducing products to visitors, Hoi An Creativity Week 2026 provided an opportunity for Shalom Wood to meet businesses interested in DIY wooden models and Vietnamese-inspired gifts.
With in-house design and manufacturing capabilities, the company seeks to work with distributors, gift shops, souvenir retailers, and partners interested in custom product development.
Conversations during the event offered valuable perspectives on product design, assembly experiences, and retail presentation. These insights help inform Shalom Wood’s ongoing product development and support for business partners.

Thank You to the Organizers and Visitors
Shalom Wood extends its sincere thanks to the organizers of Hoi An Creativity Week 2026 and the team behind the “Chạm Sáng Tạo” space for their support throughout the event.
The company also thanks the local residents, travelers, and business partners who visited the Halom booth, explored the collection, and shared their feedback.
Following the event, Shalom Wood looks forward to taking part in future cultural and creative initiatives, bringing Vietnamese-designed and manufactured wooden models to more customers in Vietnam and around the world.
